Schaeffer to compete for Team Indiana in NWCA Duals this Friday and Saturday!

WHS wrestler Lukas Schaeffer (State Qualifier at 189) has been selected by the Indiana High School Wrestling Coaches Association to be part of "TEAM INDIANA BLUE" this coming weekend in the National Wrestling Coaches Association Brute Scholastic Duals.  The teams for this event are made up of the top placing underclassman in the state at that given weight class (no seniors allowed in this event).  The Brute Scholastic Duals will take place at Wabash College on Friday and Saturday.  Schaeffer will compete in the 189 lb. weight class for Team Indiana.  This event is one of the more prestigious scholastic events in the country, drawing state all-star teams from Indiana, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Colorado, Texas, Kentucky, Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, and many more!  You can follow Schaeffer's progress on Friday and Saturday in a few different ways.  You can follow him on live blog on www.theopenmat.com.  The announcers/bloggers will be covering the event live and do a great job of updating the action, just post a question to them on how Lukas is doing and you will likely get your updates!  Information will also be available on www.trackwrestling.com as well.   Well done Lukas Schaeffer and good luck!
