Belden, Rooney, and DeLong lead Rocks at North Central!

AJ Belden, Lucas Rooney, and Taylor DeLong all finished the North Central tournament undefeated!  All three of these wrestlers looked spectacular on the day finishing a combined 14-0.  Belden (at 103) had two technical falls, one pin, a forfeit, and defeated a previously unbeaten wrestler from Shelbyville.  Rooney (at 145) continues to improve with each event.  Rooney had one technical fall, one pin (in 0:28), a forfeit, and two decisions.  DeLong (at 171) quietly having an outstanding season went 4-0 with two pins, a decision, and a forfeit.  The team picked up three wins against Shelbyville, North Central, and Union County.  In round four, the team dropped a heart breaking 33-29 loss to Cathedral.  In the dual, both teams won 7 individual matches.  Then in the final round, the Shamrocks lost to HSE 45-18.  The team is in action again on Tuesday night against Carmel, and then again on Saturday at Zionsville for the HCC.
