First week of practice is almost complete! It has been a great 1st week of practice with over 60 wrestlers on the roster and on the mat each afternoon. Here are a couple of key dates I wanted to pass along to everyone:

Friday, Nov. 12th:  Picture Day

This will be at the end of practice.  Picture forms will be available next week at practice for those wrestlers who are interested.

 

Saturday, Nov. 13th:  Parent Meeting/Open Practice

Our parent meeting will take place at 8:30 a.m. for approximately 30 to 40 minutes.  We will pass out fliers next week to the wrestlers to remind them of this meeting.  After our meeting, we invite all interested parents to come up into the wrestling room and watch one of our workouts!  Come see first hand one of our workouts.

 

Monday, Nov. 15th:  Wrestle-Offs

Everyone on the team will participate in a "wrestle off" on Monday, Nov. 15th starting at 6 p.m. in the main gymnasium.  We will be running two mats to ensure everyone gets a match.  Some of the matches will be for the varsity spot, others will be an opportunity for the team to have a match in front of a crowd, a real official, etc.  Please come out and enjoy the evening with our team!
